Settlement/Movement During Construction
Similar to the monitoring activities that take place at an advance stage or at later, say, maintenance stage, settlement monitoring surveys are undertaken simultaneously while the construction activity is proceeding. This step is most precautionary, so that the planners/ designers gather an early insight about anything that is in stock, and not rush into any supposed-to-be conclusions/decisions. The monitoring will be useful to identify the settlement of the building during the casting of every floor slab.
