Salinity & Temperature observation

Observe Sea Water Salinity and Water Temperature. Salinity refers to the amount of salts dissolved in water. We can measure the salinity of sea/ocean water using an instrument called a refractometer, which measures the index of refraction of a particular substance. It is a device used in geology, medicine and agriculture. The temperature of sea water is measured with calibrated modern thermistors. Ocean temperature is related to ocean heat content.
